WVU Morgantown undergraduate courses that temporarily moved online Sept. 9 will on Monday, Sept. 28. The following guidance remains in place through Sept. 27:

  • Off-campus students should not visit campus and are asked to stay in your Morgantown area residence except when necessary.

Overview

  • All non-essential visits to campus are strongly discouraged.
  • The 英雄联盟s10竞猜 strongly discourages students and employees from hosting visitors from other locations on campus or at home.
  • Everyone on campus — including visitors — must follow guidelines for good personal hygiene (wearing masks/face coverings, physical distancing, hand-washing, etc.).
  • No one should come to campus if they are feeling ill.

Operations

Residence Halls and 英雄联盟s10竞猜 Apartments

Visitors must follow all COVID-19 related policies — including masks/face coverings and physical distancing — and all residence hall policies英雄联盟s10竞猜. These guidelines are subject to change without advance notice.

Residents Visiting Within the Same Residence Hall

For room-to-room visits.

  • There may be no more than two visitors in any residence hall room or three visitors in any residence hall apartment at any time.
    • Residents should discuss these expectations as part of their roommate agreement.
  • In-hall visitation does not require registration at front desks.
  • While in a student room, occupants and visitors must wear masks/face coverings.
  • If at any time any occupant of the room desires the visitors to leave, the visitor must do so.

Non-Residents Visiting Residence Halls

Non-residents include both non-WVU students and WVU students. Anyone residing outside the residence hall is considered a non-resident visitor to that hall.

  • Visitors not permitted within residential areas, including the resident’s room and/or residence hall apartment.
  • Visitors are permitted to wait in the front desk/lobby area of the building if physical distancing expectations are met.
    • Residents of the building have priority access to front desk/lobby areas.
    • If physical distancing cannot be maintained, the visitor will be asked to wait outside the building.

Designated Public Access Areas in Residence Halls

  • Non-residents of the building who need access to a dining hall, classroom or administrative office and other approved areas will be permitted to do so between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.
  • All non-residents of the building must leave the residence hall by 9 p.m.
  • Visitation is limited to designated areas, and all other areas of the residence halls are off limits to non-residents.

  • Residents in 英雄联盟s10竞猜 Apartments are discouraged from having guests; however, no more than one guest per person/per unit is allowed at one time, per the Resident Handbook.
  • Visitors are not permitted in apartments where a resident is in isolation or quarantine.

Roommates

Parents/Families of 英雄联盟s10竞猜

  • The 英雄联盟s10竞猜 will not prohibit parents of on-campus students from visiting campus. However, access to certain buildings may be restricted for those outside the 英雄联盟s10竞猜 community.

Essential Campus Visitors

Visitors whose physical presence is required on campus to perform certain services must follow recommended CDC and OSHA guidance as well as federal, state and local guidelines. They are also required to comply with the 英雄联盟s10竞猜's COVID-19 policies and procedures.

  • All visits to campus must be coordinated with the appropriate WVU host with as much advance notice as possible.
  • The host is responsible for sending the and asking the visitors to complete the checklist prior to the visit.

Interviews with Job Candidates

  • All initial screenings should occur via telephone or video conference (e.g., Zoom or Microsoft Teams).
  • In-person interviews should be limited to final candidate pools and follow the appropriate .

Suppliers, Contractors and Vendors

  • All non-essential visits are strongly discouraged.
  • Discussions or interviews for bid proposals should be conducted via telephone or video conference and continue to follow procedures outlined by WVU procurement guidelines.

Contractors/Construction Workers

  • Individuals engaged in new construction, renovation and capital improvement projects who have been approved to continue work on site must complete the and follow WVU's guidelines for visitors on campus.
  • Construction workers also should follow the and other federal, state and local guidelines.
